I bought the DS when it came out. Always been a big fan of Nintendo, I have mist of their handhelds. But the DS's touchscreen and the ganes that tried to integrate then just didn't work for me. So I haven't bought the newer models.
On the other hand, I just bought a Vita a day ago and its pretty great. Modern controls, and not too much forced integration of the touch screen. Enjoying it a lot more than the DS.

If you don't mind ports, look into buying MGS:HD on Vita during a sale. One of the few ports that actually performs far better than on original hardware and MGS games have been notoriously difficult to emulate on PCSX2 properly.

I agree with him, the vita has more good games overall. 3ds does have some great games but the vast majority of its library is just populated by shovelware and the same old generic nintendo garbage, which it didn't even do very well with its mediocre remakes, endless censorship, and just plain awful hardware.

Biggest cons is the lack of customization on the entire fucking system. All you fucking get is bubbles, sounds, and fucking wallpapers shits pathetic. I really can't wait till a hack is released to completely unlock the system its going to be pretty fucking amazing.

I have an Xperia and I looked up some mobile games. I can honestly say I'm not interested in playing a single one. And most of them are ladden with microtransactions.
I'm still hoping that Sony reconsider not leaving the handheld market. I know Nintendo does it better to a certain degree. But I don't want the mobile cancer to win.
