I hope Outlast 2 has a map. Getting lost in some of those areas were fucking annoying such as the medical wing for example.

There is a point where you can get pretty lost in the chirurgical wing where you are chased. You cant look around too much and have to run around, but the problem is that the way out is out of the normal path. So you go round and round and round.

You would think but no.
Sanity system. Less scripted chases. Puzzles. Would also be nice to have some cheap way to fight back, but they won't implement that.
And for fuck's sake change the fucking music. The music in Outlast is so terrible and ruins the mood. It's not scary being chased when you have cheesy fucking annoying trumpets blaring full blast. I want to feel dread and horror, not cheesy chase-run away shit.

Combat is often handled poorly due to the constant stream of it we have these days. I still believe that limiting player actions just cuz is far more jarring than a game that sells itself as a shooter being more shooter than spooks.
For example, I don't want brutal qtes with huge explosions. I just want to be able to punch humans in the face. Or kick. What have you. I want to be able to scatter things in front of opponents, or in the event a gun is avilable, pick it up and fire wildly with my shaky presumably scrawny nerd arms.
