I was going to wait until the DLC was out before I did a playthrough so I wasn't burned out, but I heard the alien hunter DLC was kinda shitty and messes up the early game with god level enemies before you have the resources to fight them. Should I disable that before playing or not?

apparently the boss enemies only show up after you do a specific mission.
also I heard if you disable the DLC the bosses will show up randomly anyway (which is extremely retarded if true, but xcom does have tons of bugs so it's probably real)

how can people even play iron man with all the bugs? one time the enemies I killed sort of cloned themselves when they died, leaving another live enemy to keep fighting (obviously I dont talk about codex). another time, opening a door froze a soldier's movement, and I had to close the door to move. then there was the time when enemies were rendered in different locations than they actually were. and the times when the game says some object will break from a frag (orange color), but it doesn't.
