NX VR will just be glasses and not a full blown helmet. Helmet is an optional peripheral that makes for a more immersive experience but is not necessary.

Though to be fair, Microsoft couldn't really do that with phones, and the Vita is dead in the water compared to the PS4, so Sony would have to create a whole new handheld and try to salvage it for the Neo.

Make consoles that can be separated into graphics blocks,cpu,disk drives and power supplies.
Initially sell the whole thing,but to upgrade sell other parts in a modular way like PC, this way of people wanted to upgrade there's no need to buy a new console and it could compete better with pc.

I think it's a fine gimmick. Portable sales are doing far better than console so it ensures a strong install base and doesn't split their market. Cheaper for us so we aren't buy two new Nintendo devices. It also makes sense since some games linked between 3DS and Wii U like Monster Hunter 3U.
And I think cartridges are a cool gimmick that largely solves the issue of long load times.
Nintendo are probably going to add something weirder yet though so just wait.

Very few, and the input lag is significant. And you have to buy an expensive peripheral to make it work. Basically it's shit. It was very much so an afterthought for Sony.

First off there will be no VR, the virtual boy was a failure and Nintendo's already stated that they're not interested in VR right now. Secondly it won't be cartridge based, not only would that limit how much content they can put onto a game, but it would destroy the 3rd party possibilities.
