The build up was amazing but the fight was such trash.
You can throw Demise in there too. I love Skyward Sword as much as I love any other Zelda, but he's the shittiest villain, especially after Ghirahim.
Though I did like that you could call lightning down to the sword again. I loved that shit in Zelda II/ALttP.
I wish Wind Waker let you do some more ZeldaII/ALttP style magic. Only thing that game was missing to me.

Yes, it's the best Ganondorf final battle, the setting, the scene beforehand, the music, the way Ganon fights.
It also sucks that the one in TP is just in Hyrule Field with a barrier around the area, feels artificial as shit, they could've been more creative, in OoT is in the Castle Ruins, in SS is in that giant lake, that shit was cool, but in TP? meh, at least the music was cool but receving just half a heart of damage from one blow was laughable.

All of Twilight Princess' enemies hit with the force of an infant wielding a wet paper towel. Have the durability of one too.
TP would be much better if the HP of the enemies was doubled along with their damage. It is funny though that one of the most "mature" Zeldas is also the one to be the most kid friendly and hand holdey gameplay wise

If Solidus was a better character, and the fight didn't come after three hours of sob story bullshit I'd probably like it more. Also the katana was cool and the controls were great, but Solidus himself doesn't do much cool shit with them.
Fighting Liquid is more satisfying because he's a complete prick who actively fucks with you the whole game. He also does a little more damage.
