Nah. All stardew did was show that there is a market on PC for a Harvest Moon kinda game. The Dev just tapped into a market that no one else bothered with and it worked really well. I suspect it will go well on whatever not portable console they release it on as well

after completing dark souls 3 and blood and wine I feel like there is nothing to play.
I've thought about getting dolphin to play it's a wonderful life again since that was the comfiest game ever to be made but I'm just not feeling it, and I thought about playing this stardew game too but after watching some gameplay and reviews I just don't think I could get into it.
I'm going to just reinstall rome 2 and start a new campaign I think.

This, Marvelous/NIS are idiots for not doing this sooner. They kept adding newer and more useless gimmicks, and forced-hand-holding, when all we wanted was just another good ol' Harvest Moon like the SNES/Playstation titles.Wonderful Life was pretty cozy, too.
Maybe they should make new games for systems that matter then. If they would make their games for PC, they would never have to worry about an abrupt and permanent end to sales when the console's generation dies.

What did it learn exactly? The villagers are even blander then the HM ones and half of them have cuck jokes, Terraria only influences it for the terrible sprites. HM already has an economy system, did you even play it? On top of that this game still makes its same mistakes, aka shit like animal being high cost and terrible. It learned nothing, it's just a "what if HM was a western indie game"
