Considering this is Dragon's Crown and Atlus has recently decided not to work with NISA Europe for their European releases, that's probably why.
Atlus publishes Vanillaware games in Japan and America but since Atlus doesn't do their own shit in Europe, they use other companies. NISA Europe did Dragon's Crown, but since then they stopped the partnership and thus NISA Europe as no way to renew the license since Atlus isn't working with them anymore.Also why the fuck is every single thread for Vanillaware games full of PC/console bullshit? In the US at least - where I know about the law - you barely even own your car or your coffee machine anymore. It all runs on software, and you're only ever renting the software. Farmers had to battle for years to get the rights to fix their motherfucking tractors without breaking copyright law, and those guys have a lobby. Our asses aren't capable of legally owning anything.
What's even funnier is that the buy-to-own housing market has shrunk too. Thanks to insanely low interest rates, the absurdly rich have been able to buy a ton of properties and flip them into rentals. Our future is to go back to nobles and peasants.

Why does someone wishing a game got a port result in platform war shitposting? There isn't anything malicious or insidious in intention when someone says they want a game ported to something else.

Hell, the game getting ported to other platforms may increase the longevity of the game, as its starting to be removed from PSN which is kind of sucks.
