Thoughts on Unreal 2?
It's really bad. The movement is slow, the enemies are bullet sponges, and the level design is frustrating. That character and the final level are really the only two highlights of the game.
Interesting, but not as good as the first game. The way the game escalated was weird as fuck at the time

had plenty of good moments, but, still felt lame and shitty. 11 years later and i'm still confused as to how i feel about this game.
It' good, some level are really amazing and characters are really great, but the base defense missions are shit.
I started playing this a day or two ago after finishing Gold. It took about 2 fights for me to uninstall and move on to 2004.

but i'm an extreme unreal fanboy
if UT3 didn't exist i'd say it was a flawless series, even with Unreal 2 which so many seem to hate. I felt there were lots of fun ways to interact with scenery in levels and i enjoyed that, the mc was fun, dialogue was fun.
that level 'Hell' was my favourite.

Was there really any problem with UT3 other than lack of maps? I really loved the asymmetrical vehicle selection in it, hoverboards were fun, weapon design and graphics in general looked amazing. I hardly understand all the hate it gets.

Sure, it's not that bad, there's only like three of those defenses in entire game and the rest of the levels are damn good.

You can bind that double tap to a single key in any Unreal engine fame, it works wonders when you do
