4k is genuinely grand if you sit close to a decent sized monitor.
It's not worth it for the framerate loss yet, though.
Interestingly perhaps, 4k will be the Max resolution. Your eye can't really tell much difference beyond 4k at even quite a small distance from the screen.
Incidentally, despite all the memes, 720p is actually pretty much perfect for a TV if you sit a standard 10-12 feet from the screen. Assuming 20/20 vision.
So for consoles, 4k absolutely is a meme.

nah 720 to 1080 is pretty noticeable. but 1080 to 1440 or above is less noticeable. 1080 isnt amazing but its definitely the sweet spot for visuals/performance.

4k is definitely noticeable for PC displays at 27in and above. TVs I'd say it's noticeable at 55+in.

I know it sounds weird with what I just said before this but I'm probably never going to buy a new card anyways. Recently I've just been playing games and found when I get immersed graphics don't matter too much (but if they're shitty it breaks immersion) so I'm pretty much content.
