Splatoon is cool, but something always felt off to me that I just can't put my finger on. Maybe it had a measly budget or something, I don't know, but aside from theinkredibly short/easy campaign, it's 100% multiplayer, and I feel like there wasn't much to do aside from that. And besides it being fun of course, I feel like there wasn't really much depth or incentive to games. Levelling up is cool, and it's great that they upped the level cap at one point, but I don't know. The game just feels empty to me. That might be the best word to describe it. Not shitting on the game, it was cool, and I'm looking forward to a sequel with a higher budget now that they see its popularity and sales. Thanks for reading my blog.

On that note however, I am really concerned how Splatoon can work outside of the Wii U. The Gamepad is for all intents and purposes a Splatoon/Mario Maker controller. Playing Splatoon without gyro aiming and a huge touchscreen map on the controller for Super Jumping/Inkstrikes doesn't feel like it will feel good to play at all
