REmake was fantastic, and I would love to see RE2 get the same treatment.
RE5 was fun to play with a friend, but it just didn't feel like the earlier games.
REmake > 2 > 4 > CV > 1 > 3 > Rev 2 = 0 > Rev 1 > RE6 > RE5

REmake is probably my favorite overall.
2 and 4 were also great, though the latter loses points for its role in the "over-the-shoulder shooter" craze that began shortly after its release. Code: Veronica and Outbreak were pretty good too.
Never cared much for 3 or 5 though, nor did I bother to play 6 or most of the spin-offs.

Rev2 felt like Re6 DLC which isn't necessarily a bad thing.
Rev1 was more of like the old style RE even thought elitutists disagree because it didn't have shitty controls, prerendered backgrounds, tin can voice acting and shitty psx polygons.
Now these same losers are pretending to be hyped for VII even thought all interest dropped like their mother's panties at an NAACP meeting.
