I know this feel. I used to love all the sexual shit they did, like video game vixens. the atmosphere was great and the people genuinely loved their work and subjects.

It went to shit for the same reason many networks do. They shifted their focus.
i.e., Cartoon Network, Mtv, the WB/CW, Boomerang, SciFi/Syfy, The Learning Channel, The Discovery Channel, TV Land, The History Channel, and even (to an extent) The Weather Channel
It replaced techtv.
