I mean, response time and refresh rates along with input lag do all matter. A monitor is better for all but usually significantly more expensive and usually smaller. Some games, like mario brothers, are fucking stupid to play on some TVs. I think linustech had a video on trying to play mario and he switched his TV cause timing was so off.

I have a 40 inch led hdtv that my pc and all my consoles are hooked up to at the moment because i dont have a computer table for my pc set up. my stand sits at the bottom of my bed so its comfy as fuck but it can be a pain because im using my mouse on my bedsheets because fuck a mouse mat.

I have an ASUS VG248QE, and while the 1 ms response time is really really nice, and you can adjust it in several different ways to get the perfect viewing angle, I have never liked the colors. It doesn't help that the viewing angle makes a very noticeable difference on them either. Maybe it just needs proper calibration, but I doubt that's all.
Does anyone know of a good 1080p monitor that comes with a vertical/convertible stand? Preferably with hdmi input but it isn't necessary.
