A lot of the stories are weaker than before the reboot but for the sake of setting up a lot of plot strings for the future. The biggest thing that makes the Unleashed adaptation so lacking is the fact that the dickhead editor that's now gone forced a huge shitty crossover which was followed by a huge 3 month hiatus and the cancellation of both the Megaman comic(technically a hiatus) and the Sonic Boom comic.
Colors has already happened in this timeline. Unfortunately, Lost World has not.

I unironically enjoyed all of the comics back when I was a teen. I was a big Sonic fan back then though, haven't played any of the games in years. They may have seemed stupid or too angsty but it was right up my alley. I'm sorry Penders had to ruin the universe for the other fans though.
