Guys, I'm having a bit of trouble running this game and would really appreciate feedback.
I'm playing SS:FTE classic from GoG on an absolute toaster. Game runs smooth as silk but unfortunately for some reason every time a tree is about to be destroyed, there's like a 2 second loading/stutter where the game seems to lose it's shit trying to load the 'tree explode' animation.
Any idea why this might be happening? I'm running affinity 1 and compatibility modes here. Seems like such an insane problem, but makes the game unplayable.

Could you people stop using such vague non-terms, and actually start like any sane person, and post your FULL SPECS first??
I bet your GPU is an ass / does not even exist.

It's an integrated graphics machine, but I'm talking about Serious sam TFE classic here. Frame rate is extremely smooth at all times except this one, insane issue.

I would add I've tried playing TSE classic and have had no problems whatsoever.

found your problem, though you still did not tell us your specs.
It's a totally different thing to run an Intel HD 6000 than some ancient Intel GMA crap. And since it is part of your CPU, and uses RAM as its video-memory, your other specs matter A LOT too.

You probably need to mess with texture sizes and other things like LOD in the advanced rendering settings menu. In some cases actually increasing the graphics settings can remove some stuttering since it may render some things differently.

where the fuck is my sam 4 footage croteam

Just play the HD remake.

if classic TFE can slog his PC, I somehow doubt he can run HD
>>343205005
Shouldn't it have physics settings? It definitely should, I know that HD versions do.

TFE "slogs" it only when trees are destroyed. I get 60+ FPS everywhere else.
>>343216873
Well, then that's either physics or particles. What are your settings for those?
>>343217240
There is no setting for physics in classic.

I second this.
