Tried a run using only docs, scholars and shamans for battles. Had a blast.

did you make them raging racists?
my biggest peeve with this game were the bullshit steal mechanics that had you losing things
there was no way to avoid it, short of getting the base in the late game or spending it on equipment

No there werent enough companions to pull that.

I spent like half the game fishing. So much fun.

This one. Good narrator, alright plot, although the game is fond of introducing various mechanics that are then abandoned and never used in a different scenario. A special thing I'd like to mention is that it is perhaps the only game with roleplay/choice elements where evil choices actually feel like they are fitting to make in multiple situations and not some tacked on "I kill you because I am evil like that" bullshit most rpg games do.
FTL
FTL, DivOS and Darkest Dungeon.

I loved it personally. Sure, the world map is not very fleshed out and the separate characters for different scenario is not what everyone likes (though I do), but the combat is amazing, the atmosphere is wonderfully melancholic and it actually pulled off almost every single character you played as being a crook extremely well. It's also the only game with Weird West setting too.Inquisitor campaign was the best one.
