Funny. I didn't care for this or Shantae's kickstarter campaigns. But then the Dinah incident happened and, as I researched more and more, I decided that Shantae was a nice project, so I made a PayPal donation. Reading more in the game, I bought both the original GBC game for my 3DS and The Pirate's Curse and I was pleasantly surprised for how good games they were.
So, at least for me, this whole Mighty No. 9 shitfest has had some good consequences. I'm not going to say I'm a rabid Shantae fan, but at least I discovered a pair of good games.
