Way I see it, the game both sets up for a future installment, and works as a conclusion (albeit a flat one).
The whole "appeal to the West" concept, and the Steam release just makes me think that Spike Chunsoft is testing the waters. VLR was very slow to start up and the midgame was really boring and it had too many throwaway characters. I think the ending sequence and the leadup to it was amazing, but it had a fairly weak body overall.

Also, look at how Carlosawoke his shifting powers. You can assume if they only needed Shifters, it wouldn't have made a difference if young or old had been there. Sigma would've developed his power anyway. The only situation where Old Sigma would have been required over Young is if there was something specific that needed to be remembered, since it was demonstrated in VLR that Old Sigma remembers everything unlike regular Shifters. But in ZTD, everyone remembers everything thanks to being surrounded by Shifters

yeah there are a lot of scenes in the game that were really great
pretty much any moment with the C-team was just a wild rollercoaster and like you said, D2 ending was pretty great.I didn't think that Phi actually would be Diana and Sigma's daughter. Everyone was thinking it and I thought it was just too obvious, but guess it happened anyway.

You can type Tenmyouji to refer to Junpei, and it will acceptQ and Delta as being the same answer except specifically for the Perceptive End, but despite knowing Sigma's name is Klim, arguably moreso since his older conciousness was referred to as Dr Klim, you can't enter Klim in any keyboard without getting Error
