In Warcraft there's fucking scoreboards at the end of each round of instanced pvp. It helps delegate who the fuck was pulling their weight so you can make changes to your team.
Overwatch needs a goddamn scoreboard so I can at least compare myself to the other people in the group so I can tell if I'm the garbage or they are. It's frustrating as fuck. It makes me even madder when we have a Mercy/Luctio on our team but I'm getting gold medals in healing as Mei or 76. It's ridiculous.

The medals aren't arbitrary, they tell you exactly how well you are doing.

If you have a team of people that can never kill anything, you are never going to be moving that payload, no matter how hard you objective.
Blizzard was actually smart about this though. Objective kills and objective time lets you see who was useful while being near the area that matters, but too bad it will never actually be useful information.
