it was a huge disappointment coming from PD64. PD64 had such a good selection of weapons, maps and an incredible campaign. As well as tons of modes/features/options
Some weapons made you walk slower, and the weapon selection was much more generic. There weren't any cool alien weapons

Bugs aside, the game itself was cut down in scope heavily to meet a strict holiday deadline. There's only one hub world and 8 levels. The game showers you with Dragonflies (aka Power Stars) because challenges and levels to unlock them don't exist. It was a troubled production.

A man of fine taste. Tomba 2 killed the entire atmosphere and the pacing with the shitty tutorial sidekick, the horrible voice acting and the awful 3D graphics. The first one will be a timeless classic for keeping the retro charm instead going modern.
First one was a lot better. Not awful, just not as good.
