There are plenty of tools to get an optimal experience. I run with 70 mods changing literally every single aspect of the game yet I rarely get bugs or oddities. Hell I get a hell of a lot less than the PS3 version of the vanilla game.

Nexus Mod Manager puts whatever mod you're installing in the right order automatically, usually. It's piss-easy to fix if it goes wrong, too.

if you use wrye bash, LOOT, TESVedit and MO, you will almost never run into issues, if you also read read.me files you will NEVER EVER run into issues
