Stalker is fine without mods. It's 100% playable and complete. I have no idea where you got the idea that Stalker was unplayable without mods.
If you wanna install Autumn Aurora, it's a few clicks, because it has it's own installer. You are a huge faggot if you do though, because it changes the game in HUGE from vanilla. And it will also be incredibly difficult for your first time. You'll probably hate it because it'll rape your ass without lube.

AMK autumn edition is what im using right now. Its basically Autumn Aurora 2 with amk weapons and the enb is optional since it pissed people off.
