Might be late, but haven't been on the past few days. Dolphin 5.0 has officially been released, and so far games like Spiderman 2 and Geist run perfectly with pretty much no graphical errors.
Seeing as I Never actually owned a Gamecube (Awful Childhood, I know), does anyone have some good suggestions?
I don't really care for Zelda, but any amazing gems on CB worth checking out now that they're most likely able to be played finally.

I'm not at my desktop, but I mostly left everything default in Dolphin. I'm at one or two notches above 720p (haven't really tested it above those resolutions). MSAAx2 or so. No other hacks or anything, but I didn't really play around with it too much, everything I tried was silky smooth (SoA, Wind Waker, Twin Snakes, Eternal Darkness).
REF: i have my 8150 at ~4.23GHz on all 8, and I'm just running an old GTX560 2GB variant.
Like I said, everything basically worked fine out of the box, so to speak.

To load custom textures you have to install them to the Documents/Dolphin/Load/Textures folder and make sure the folder has the same ID as your .iso
Then with them installed go to advanced in Dolphin and press load custom textures and prefetch (so that there isn't stuttering in-game as each one is loaded individually).

Gamecube emulation has been 90% fine for years, Wii has been fucked and is not feature-complete.
You still are unable to even launch some games without a real, physical wiimotionplus controller.
You still cannot play a Wii game over the internet if it requires any form of saving.
