Everyone does, the problem is making it past the first five seconds without getting your ass cornered and stunlocked. On your first try it's really easy to panic and die, especially if you go in blind and the small room and three enemies coming for your ass surprise you.

I did and I'm no liar. what happened is I got lost and couldn't find the lower undead berg, so I decided to explore the forest area thinking it was the next place to go.
After getting the elite set and kill MLB I eventually found the undead berg. The armor gave me enough poise that the boss wasn't that hard.

The fight could have been good but they fucked it up by cornering you against the well.
Fag had ranged attacks and all sorts of other crazy shit he doesn't used because you're never in a position to trigger those attacks.
The only way to fight him the fun way is to get the charred ring from his tail and take the fight to the center of the lava, but he'd already be too low on health by then.

Played it blind, skipped that entire "boss" completely, had already fought tons of them as normal enemies by the time I discovered the capra demon boss. I was maybe level 50 when I ran into him and two shotted him like he was nothing. In subsequent future playthroughs I never had an issue with him

seriously though I played through this game a few months ago (have only played DaS1/3 besides) and the bosses are so underwhelming. I spent about a week playing through it and already don't remember much of the bosses, just the worlds (which were pretty good).
They all just sit there and let you rip them apart except for Flame Lurker, Allant, and Doran. Allant was super easy too. Old Monk was neat but with no players, it's just an obnoxious cat and mouse game with Monk spamming grass.

Artorias fight has no flow? It's the most "fluid" fight in the game. You don't "sneak" in attacks, you attack openings like any other fight. After playing each fight about a million times he's one of the few I actually have fun with these days.
