I wish the games would take a page from the comic and give Eggman some actual allies and high-level commanders that are humans and anthro animals. You know that even in a world like Sonic's there would be those who would want to work with/for Eggman for power, money, or the joy of it, and Eggman always works best when he has minions to play off of.

Depends on what you read.
After #50, the comic kinda spiraled out of control because they killed off Robotnik. A lot of useless melodrama, relationship issues, retarded ancient prohpecies, high school shit, etc. happened, on top of some pretty bad artwork as well. It wasn't until a major restaffing of the comic (#160) that things got better.
The Universe series was the best idea they had, I love how it focuses on characters other than Sonic and tells the other stories happening alonside the main plot.
Comic needs more Akhlut and Kukku. Games also need more Kukku.
