I never said it's bad, they're all very close except for peace walker. Mgs4 had extremely fun gameplay from what it had and it's environments were some of the most intetersting and varied. Also story is a huge factor for this series, I enjoyed the mgs4 story.

MGS4 was a highly memorable, highly enjoyable, high quality game, had enjoyable stealth at its core, as well as the best CQC the series has ever done. Sure, it's lacking in gameplay, but it was an undeniably good game nonetheless. You can't call it horrible.
I had fun with V, it ended abruptly and I never played any other MGS game, but it was fun. I want a fun horror game. Fun.
