What was the first game you ever played /v/?
> never actually played any (born 93) when I was a kid
> Christmas 2005
> family got an huegbox and pic related was my first
> still my favorite of all time
Home Alone for DOS is the first game I remember playing. Maybe there were others before, though.

>>342990483
I'm sad the series died with a horribly unfinished 3rd game , 1 and 2 were the shit
>>342990483
ALL HAIL ARKVOODLE
LORD OF THE SACRED CROTCH
>>342990483
Time Lord or Legend of Zelda on NES.
I still have the physical copy somewhere on my shelf
G.I Joe A Real American Hero
I love it, it´s pretty great
>>342990483
Grew up playing NES with my dad. First game I ever played entirely on my own was Pokemon Red
>>342991204
Tbh my love of the second may be rosy glasses , I remember whole whole game was the same 3 missions over and over but the arvoodle mission were 10/10

>>342990483
When I was very young I have faint memories of my older cousins letting me play Donkey Kong on Atari 2600. Maybe Pac-Man.
Probably either this or Doom shareware
>>342991420
My fucking nigger
>>342991791
I think you've got it backwards
Arkvoodle missions were usually 'Kill people', 'Bring me ___', 'Destroy nearby obstacles' and 'Get a high enough alert level'
>>342990483
> Back In the day I tried to 100% destroy all humans
> got all probes in all maps but one
>in the Modesta area there was one probe I never found even after searching for months
> 99% it

There is a wii version of destroy all humans ? When did that happen ?
I still think this is the best one.
SM World is a close second.

Duke 3d
This masterpiece
Robotnik scared the shit out of me as a kid so I'd cry and pass the controller to my uncle when I got to the end of a stage
>>342993294
The spin-off?
Hell no.
>>342990854
Crypto deserved so much better.
Although Nordic Games did say they had plans for him, so here's hoping.
>>342990483
first game ever played that i rememberborn in 94
>>342990483
Pong on the Atari. Born in 92
Fucking this
Born in '91, played some of games that I can't remember but got this with a ps1 when I was still young. Still one of my favourites.
>>342990483
i had a spectrum zx, and 100% remember playing games on it, but the game that will always stay with me is bubble bobble, because after beating the 100 levels, it would replay the same 100 levels but everything was invisible (black) except the playable characters, the bubbles and some of the enemies. that turned me on and i have a fetish for anything invisible now. good memories.
>>342990483
It was either Sonic 2, or pic related.
>>342996982
>>342990483
either pic related or super mario kart on the gameboy advance.
>>342997724
>this fucking pinball game
The fucking nostalgia on 90s pc gaming just comes rushing back to me, I need to play ski freak now.
Pic + Red Alert 1+ C&C 1
It wasn't until C&C 3 did I like another RTS. I have all three on a mac book too so I can play on the plane rides.
Either Jetpack, one of the Commander Keen games or MegaRace for DOS.

Oh forgot to mention, columns was part of a trilogy with World Cup Italia '90 (don't quote me on that name) and Super Hang-On.

Even though you were a late bloomer, at least you started off on a great game.
