Gen 7 was perhaps the most well-balanced generation.
Wii won the most sales and the casual gamers.
Xbox was the initial victor for more 'serious' gamers (and dudebros).
And then, towards the end of the generation, the PS3 made a comeback and overtook the Xbox360 against all odds (and largely thanks to most X360s breaking down in 2-3 years)

I prefer the MS ecosystem, controller and IPs but its a lost cause at this point. Barely use my PS4 outside of estival versus, beat bloodborne and only interested in Persona 5. Everything else I get on PC.
