I get supremely mad if my team cant cut it and I'm playing my heart out. I always let my team know if they threw the game, but if I notice they're trying hard but just can't cut it I get less mad, but still upset, because theres no way to truly "Carry" in this game. Out of 100+ games I've only had one true comeback in overwatch where I went 51 and 10 as soldier with 5 gold medals. Even though we won I was furious the entire time. Because if your team can't cut it, your gold medals and nearly wiping their team several times will not matter because of how the game functions.
It serves to reward good players with high octane fun when you completely destroy the enemy, but then immediately takes it away by making it all for literally nothing when your team doesn't capitalize and gets wiped after you've done everything you can to mitigate.
Its almost impossible for good players stuck with bad ones to stop from getting at least mildly irritated.

I used to play nothing but league, now i dont even touch the game. It genuinely made me upset, I already beat myself up over how much time i wasted in those 30 min to hour long games and not enjoying that long ass time is just insult to injury.
Overwatch isn't like that for me, you can hop in and out of games without much of an investment and the penalty for bailing on a match isnt bad.
Also Blizzard did a good job with this, people also think they do a lot better than they normally do in games because there is no KDA, just KD. Every person you do damage to that dies counts as an elimination, and is rewarding as fuck for the player.

Nah its not all that bad. I've still had several intense overtime lockout games where I won supreme glory with a well balanced team after a long fought battle. There have been roughly a dozen games that were so intense that I immediately knew I had made a good decision buying overwatch. The only thing that really infuriates me in this game is a really good widowmaker.
What a fucking hopeless fight that feels like, she sees me through walls almost nonstop, even when I play a tank I get evaporates in 3 seconds to a couple chained headshots, even if I get close to her, she either melts me with her machine gun if I'm already weakened or ziplines away.
Widowmaker is like some horrible sniper wet dream gone wrong, she's got everything. Though granted you do have to be good with her, but she completely ruins the game for everyone else if you do because she's more lethal than any other character and not reliant on cooldowns to get kills like other characters.

I usually justify my deaths but when I play a character that has an instant damage negation skill and it never activates on the killcam, I get irritated. What is the fucking point? I literally got shot in the face by a Hanzo even though I clearly activated my deflect and in the killcam it never happened.

The one that mad me mad as fuck was Destiny because I swear they weren't even fucking trying. When I fire three homing rockets at a guy and they kill everyone around him but do no damage to the intended target and he fires a sniper rifle at me like shotgun... I'm fucking done.

It does not make me calm, in fact I think its a downward spiral until I just quit the match.

I only care about getting multiple gold medals. 2 is shit since that usually means most kills, but getting 3-5 typically means I outperformed everyone on the team in almost every way. I live for the "4 gold medals" commendation whenever I'm not playing support, even if no one votes for it. The only time someone shouldn't be aiming for 4 golds is when they're playing Mercy (I hope they change it so damage boosted kills count as an elim for Mercy too). Even Lucio can get 4-5 by getting chip damage on everyone to soften them a little for the real damage dealers on the team.
If "forced 50" is real like everyone says, there's no point in getting mad about losses since it's out of your control. Just perform well and you're going to be fine.
Enemy team, 6 players, 20-something characters to pick and they always have a Roadhog. Mad, but more disappointed.

It's odd, if I do well but my team is shit I just don't get mad, but if I do ass and my team is carrying I will get slightly frustrated. There are just games when everything you attempt to do just gets stuffed violently and it can really get under your skin for a while. At least when you personally do well I don't feel like I'm letting someone else down.
The worst is when your own team shittalks you for doing poorly, when that happens I pretty much just stop trying. No point in helping an annoying twat win.
I used to get mad when my teammates instalock Tracer Hanzo Genji and Widowmaker all in the same time, but now I just leave and requeue.
I see Widowmaker less now that shitters cant kill as easily with body shot
I only get mad when I'm doing poorly because my team is shit and I'm getting killed over and over, and then someone on my team starts telling everyone to report me because I'm shit at my role.

This. I sincerely can't believe such a feel good, casual shooter has any chance of being eSports. Yes, you can pay big bucks to have people autistically dump weeks of their lives into this game so they can eventually play the game in a huge stadium while sitting in "professional gaymen" chairs and rocking the Alienware/Razr shit with pretty LCDs all being livestreamed and commentated on Twitch, but it doesn't change how pretty shallow this game is at the end of the day

I guarantee you, when you do that, you're putting a huge mark on your back. I always plan on killing people that do that, and I feel great when I do. Also, I've had teammates try to scope out the other team through the windows and see what the opponents comps are.

God I'm glad I play this on console. I can't imagine having to see text chat or hear voice. On console my rage doesn't affect them and theirs doesn't affect my gameplay.
I don't get tilted in this game. I'm not an amazing player, but if I'm on a really bad team that's getting steamrolled I just say to myself things like "Wow, this team is fucking awful" but I never feel the need to share it with everyone because I'm sure they know how bad it is too, they're also on the team. I just leave at the end of the game and hope the next game is more balanced.

It pretty much never happens to me, fortunately. I can take losses like a man. Sometimes I do start trolling people if I think they're assholes, though.
