PC doesn't need a shitty UI for weapons in the first place.
Scroll or press the number keys. It clears up the screen and is about as quick and intuitive as it gets.

Scrolling to switch weapons is every bit as slow and cumbersome as console shit.
If you don't have weapons bound to specific easy to reach keys you are doing it wrong.
I didn't even know there was a weapon wheel button on the keyboard. I just intuitively press the number keys and mouse wheel to swap.
