I dunno. My favorite thing about Disgaea is the general level of freedom you have. Essentially, if you can think it, you can probably pull it off in Disgaea, which allows fun and creative ways to play.
My favorite thing about VC so far is how you're forced to manage action points, making every move count. Mixing the two would probably make something similar to Phantom Brave though.
