So Blazblue Chrono Phantasma Extend and Guilty Gear Xrd Sign are both 70% off on PSN, at 15$ each, I'm not a fighting game guy but I really like some of the stories from fighting games like in MKX/Injustice. Which one should I buy ?

Blazblue since the new version of GG is out now and you can watch Sign's story mode online.
You won't understand BB because its the 3rd game in the series (On top of already being confusing), so you'd have to watch all of the important character's stories.

But the balance is unchanged. All you are missing is a few new characters.
Blazblue has an easier combo system, but a more in depth knockdown/wakeup game.
Guilty is a lot faster and harder combos, but is a bit more straight forward

Both games have a cluster fuck of a story anyway you shouldn't worry about it
I want to get into GG but i'm almost certain its DoA and if I cant play Ranked mode a few months from now and find a match yes its dead.

Maybe, I haven't played since Continuum Shift. The story has always been pretty weird, but jumping in now for the story will only leave you confused.
