I wasn't, but I did end up getting Leaf Green. it took me 3 tries to actually finish. Got a lot of new favorites when i did finish, though. I still remember my team.

Yes. This is a prepatched rom but it's vanilla fire red so things like trade evolutions and other game exclusive mons are still a thing unless you patch them out. No physcial special split affects gameplay severly. Consider Gengar, he has a fuck ton of special attack and practically no physical attack, yet both of his STABs are physically oriented. Sharpedo and Crawdaunt are physically oriented but with duel special STABs. Pre-gen 4 suffers a lot from this.
