Then with all the rumors of an actual DMC5 and Ninja Theory going to shit, I pirated the definitive edition.
Sure thing, it's not my favorite DMC. It's the second one right after DMC3. 4 had probably the best gameplay this genre ever had, but it was half a game with fanfic-tier story. This one is easily a better game overall.
Now I'm sad because Vergil gameplay in the DLC was fucking golden and they set the beginning of an actually interesting story; a new DmC with NT artstyle and level design and Capcom gameplay would be the best, but we all know Capcom is so poor it can't outsource shit anymore.

Colour Enemies cut that into half.
Especially on higher difficulties where you need to land a Devil Dodge to kill the blue enemies in any time faster than a fucking era, the blue weapons were obviously only meant to augment combos, not be primary damage dealers.

Why call it DMC if it is going to dumb down everything? Ninja Theory continues to make mediocre gameplayand that's being generousand they needed help from Capcom to even get the combat to where it ended up.
