The problem there is Valve has a ton of games that made them a legend. CDPR had the witcher and that's it. For them just to go into a full online distribution, I can't see that ending well. With the Witcher 3 officially over I'm guessing CDP can finally devote full attention to Cyberpunk. After they release a Goty version of the witcher 3 I'd imagine they would need to start getting their next project ready simply because where are they going to be making money? It has a MUCH higher profit margin than any of the Witcher games and it's their MAIN revenue driver, NOT the fucking Witcher games. Just look at their consolidated financials ffs.

You don't have to train them. You can put points into whatever you want without actually using the sign. You can't only use bombs because you can't actually kill anything with them on their own, same with alchemy and the crossbow (which does like 1 damage to anything that isn't underwater). Everything is there for the purpose of using your sword, which is the only reliable tool used to kill things. I have played Witcher 2, it has a whopping 5 hours of content and even less role-playing.
