The final ending is going to be based off the results of your many cases, and probably will only end in 3 to 5 different way,

I expect Heavy Rain. Where characters that are actually important to have plot armor until the final couple scenes, even though the game will continually act like they could die. Hanging over a pit? Fuck up the event and someone saves you anyway with no negative consequences. Only the final portions will matter.
