Man, I got in under the wire on this one.
The sheer impermanence of Sony's online shit is staggering.
In ten years none of their exclusives will even exist, and all the controllers won't keep a charge anyway.
The thing about the yakuza series is they are at most solid games. They have tons of flaws. Long loading screens, terrible plot, mechanics feel very underdeveloped( like the red heat mechanic, on akiyama and shinada it has no use), the loading screens, the QTEs(even though I admit the scenes are baller as all hell).
Despite that I love these games like no others. There is just something about them. Charisma I guess
I enjoy my japanese soap operah with likeable characters.

Looks like only European servers are affected. I have a few games on my American account (including Yakuza 5) and they download just fine. Meanwhile, my European account refuses to download anything larger than 20GB
