Coast2Coast is great, one of my favorite PC racing games.
Playing Outrun Coast 2 Coast...man these unlockables take a fuckload of miles. Do I really have to just play the same 15 tracks over and over again to build up points to buy one more track? And then I can't even use it in campaign mode?

It's simple, I like it, lots of unlockables, but I can't find a good way to earn lots of points to buy the stuff yet. And it'd be cool if they had all colors available for cars instead of a few. There's no pink ones.

Honestly I play the solo for novelty, but who cares.
In the end you can just go back to the real Arcade mode on the menu.

No, you can stop anytime.
Most of the people playing this game get to and want to play the same 15 (30, actually) stages over and over again.
I've actually spent more time on the 15 stages of the original OutRun, and it had fewer unlockables

only OutRun SP, if I remember correctly. Kind of wished it was directly accessible right from the start. Maybe one day arcade emulators will be good enough, that I can run OutRun 2 and SP just like in the arcade, without all the menu fuss around

Nah you can switch to outrun 2 with a button (change view I think), just like you could on the real outrun 2 SP arcade machine.
But I like the SP verison much better, it's more lively.

set the timer difficulty to maximum and go for high scores. 2 and SP are considerably easier than OutRun, and there's little you can do about it. After a couple times your high scores should be plenty a challenge to beat though
