So far I've got

Super doesn't get a choice of upgrades. Just faster reload and piercing shots which go into two shots per reload.
Also just try to get as many upgrades as possible. Once you get the suit upgrades that let you switch weapons and attachments faster it's a lot of fun to be rapidly slinging different guns.

Triple-shot is good for big enemies because of the DPS. Both upgrades are good for it though, since the grenade can take out groups of small enemies while the triple-shot can melt large enemies,
