I've replayed Breath of Fire III more than I should have. I don't know why I can't stay away from that game.
Meanwhile I've only beaten BoF I/II once a piece, IV twice, and V once with a bunch of grinding to increase D-Ratio, though I don't know what I got it to. (I know I didn't max it.)
I don't know what I would want from VII. I really liked the gene splicing dragon transformations in III. I also liked the fishing most in that one compared to others, though I can't recall why. The ant colony in V was an improvement over previous faerie villages. The party layout in combat in IV was pretty amazing though.
More than anything I just want it to release on a proper console. It would be a game that I'd buy a PS4(k) for.

I even tried twice with the GBA version because it was suppose to be faster, but I just lost interest.
My first game was actually Dragon Quarter. I didn't even know BoF was a series until afterwards, and then I got 3 and 4 on the cheap. I still have yet to play either of them because of autism, but hopefully I can go through 2 without much issue.
It's not even like I can't handle really generic JRPGs. I fucking went through the first Lufia and Paladin's Quest. I just have a hard time giving a shit about the first BoF, but I think my continued retries have more to do with that.
