This is one of the coolest mecha games out there.
You don't pilot your robot, but rather you get into position and control it from a distance, moving your character to get a better view of the fight or to get out of harms way.
Voice acting is pretty good as well.

Champions of Norrath (+return to arms) is an amazing local (and online) co-op game, it's a spinoff from the everquest series. It doesn't look like much at first glance but it's mad fun. I'd play the fuck out of a pc port.

Yakuza 1&2 are really good.
The combat in the 1st game is a bit clunky and the dub is pretty shit, but it's still pretty good.
2 on the other hand fixes all the issues with the combat and gets rid of the shitty dub. One of the greatest PS2 games in my opinion.

They're 7.5's. Let's not kid ourselves. They're guilty pleasures at best with horrendous dialogue and tonally inconsistent character actions, static worlds, clunky repetitive combat, low production value, graphical eyesores, etc.
