This. I've been playing him a lot recently and he does take some getting used to. His insanely low health and low mobility means its pretty much a necessity you have a reinhardt or a good zarya on your team to use him at max efficiency, otherwise you'll be completely exposed every time you do anything. When you get in the groove though he's godlike.
