Look I'm not gonna defend Fallout 4 all that much but there's a lot of decent ideas in the game...just, poorly executed.

At least you shouldn't. At first when I played FO3 I kinda hated it and didn't touch it for the longest time. Then something clicked and it just really became an enjoyable experience despite it's inherent flaws. FO4 is definitely one of those games. It's weird and takes awhile to get used to. Nothing is really all that intuitive at first.

I played a ton and I thought the game was ok. Not spectacular, but it's alright.
The hardest part of the game was when I had totake the entirety of the BoS on my own at level 270+ and damn it was hard as fuck, bullet sponges for days, had to go through a bunch of fusion cores, my X-O1 armor took hella beating, hardest fight in the game

Well at least it's more than older games where there's literally no change whatsoever in gameplay style.
With as great as FO1 and 2 are as the arbiters of the series, power armor just gives better defensive bonuses and doesn't really affect anything else as far as my knowledge goes.
But yes I agree, the power armors in FO4 are a little too early game-ish. Also another pet peeve is that no one has nearly the amazing combat advances that the Brotherhood do. Not even the institute imo. The institute is pretty fucking retarded for how "advanced and intelligent" they're supposed to be

I understand the Brotherhood are obviously the hoarders of technology but. If you support and help buiild up other factions, why don't they start to show signs of improvement?
