The only sensible posting behavior anymore is to use the catalog to find existing threads you want to post in. Don't even bother making new threads, nobody will post in them because no one can handle honest discussion without memes or shitposting or mentioning the latest boogeyman (gaia->ebaums->9gag->rebbit->gamergoobers->censorshipfucks/anticensorshipfucks->can't wait to see what's next).
Generalcancer before the /vg/ split is what truly ruined /v/, and that same behavior is what keeps /v/ in the gutter. A truly original thread will get no posts because there's no memeing involved. Instead, posters stay in their favorite hot-topic threads and never broaden their pitifully limited horizons.
