The comfiest game ever for me was sims 2. It was so fun, just start up a house, put in some custom sims that more often than not represented people I knew, and just watched them live. It was also how I discovered my cousin was gay, so fun memories there.
Terraria (single player) is too lonely to be comfy.

Minecraft let's you do much more and it's more imersive, but many of the things you do are meaningless and badly implemented, unless you roleplay about it.
You could literally build a huge tower, put lights on top, wire it with redstone and make a rotating hatch to make a lighthouse that can be seen from a long distance at night. And that's completely useless in any meaningful gameplay or aspect. But it looks cool.
