So how's the port?
I know a pc port of a ps3 port of a gamecube game isn't good.
But is it completely botched enough to just play on Dolphin?
I got it last time it was on sale and never once saw any problems.

It's the best edition of Symphonia with TSfix and at 40FPS. Unless he's done more work, 40 is the limit at which the game starts to fuck up with more frames.

it's locked to 30fps and has resolution issues, but there's a fix for it that fixes the resolution and apparently can push it beyond 30fps but it isn't made to do so.
A few graphical effects are still missing from the original, but mostly pretty minor stuff you wouldn't notice anyway.

Initially there were severe problems, a lot of them stemming from a ridiculous DRM method that was cracked minutes after release but not actually removed for at least the first month. It's gotten better, no thanks to the porting team (one response to complaints about bad texture filtering was to add a blur filter to the entire game).
With unofficial patches it's smooth, stable, and upscales decently at least to 1440p. Unfortunately the 30FPS lock from the PS2/PS3 versions remain and there's no real solution.
