As for the Triss vs Yen thing, I think it goes to show that neither of the two are exactly angels and each have their failings. At that point, it's really up to the player to make the choice of which one they find more easy to forgive. I personally find it easier to forgive Yen for being insecure with herself rather than Triss using my amnesia to get with me when she knows I already love her best friend. But to each their own.
