I'm looking at Akiba's Trip mainly because it isn't an RPG.
Thinking of picking up D4, though it's not much of a game it seems.

Like I'd say fine go for it if it was a shallow brawler but the combat system is this really janky targeting system and it just feels really bad to play in general. Akiba's Trip makes musou games look like DMC4

The combat isn't the greatest. Standard stuff, really. Some challenging fights here and there.
World building, story, characterization, and soundtrack are all remarkable though. If you play through the first, you'll probably find yourself interested in the story, and you'll probably want to then get SC because the first game cliffhangs you really hard.
What are some good lesser known games on sale?
