So a friend gifted me 2 games yesterday but I can't redeem them cause he lives in South America and the games he gave me are 'region locked' due to sexual content (I guess).
Is there anything to do regarding this or should I give them back to him?
When you buy a game on Steam it can only be redeemed in the region it was bought, to prevent people exploiting regional pricing to make money. You can risk using a VPN to redeem them but there's a big possibility Valve will ban your account if you do that,
