It's one of those games where you manage to have a good time despite the game created as a whole is heavily flawed and is a mess.
It's very short, very easy, not many of your decisions effect the game in a major way but stabbing people in the neck is fun.

You've got high chaos/low chaos choices, alongside whether or not you kill targets or have them dealt with non lethally. I branded the first target with a mark to turn him into a traitor, and in the later levels he attacked me after becoming overcome with the rat plague. That's a choice I made with an outcome.

Taking the last level for instance, if you start in in low chaos, you approach stealthily, it's during daytime, and three out of the four assassination targets have been killed by the last one over dinner. There are considerably less guards.
High chaos, it's at night, the boatman fires a flare as you start so everyone is alerted to your position, there's loads more guards and each target is incredibly paranoid and protected.

It's a fun experience if you are willing to explore the alternative routes and deliberately gimp yourself from powers because of how overrated they are. Other than that nothing too exceptional about it, quite short and the production values are pretty slim. The combat isn't that fun anyways so stealth is the only really enjoyable way to go through things. Worth a purchase if it's on a big sale.

I've played the game both on the ps3 and the pc and pc version handles better, loads faster, etc', but i actually just meant the controls, with the mouse and keyboard i managed to do things a lot better and faster than with the controller and the game felt a lot more fun because of it.

If you're not trying to do anything crazy like what some of those youtube guys upload, playing with a controller is perfectly fine. It's also a single player game and has no pvp component what so ever, so playing with a controller vs m+kb is irrelevant.
